The HID FARGO HDP5000 Dual-Sided Card Printer has been officially discontinued as part of HID Global's efforts to streamline its product offerings. All configurations without lamination are no longer available, and configurations with lamination will be discontinued by December 31, 2024.
While the printer is no longer being produced, HID will continue to provide support for the HDP5000 until December 31, 2027. Customers are encouraged to transition to the new HID FARGO HDP5000e, which offers enhanced features and compatibility with the latest consumables.
Current HDP5000 consumables will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2024. Users will need to switch to the new HDP5K Sync consumables to maintain printer functionality beyond this date.
